Located in bustling Downtown Brooklyn, NYU Tandon's campus sits around the tree-filled Brooklyn Commons. The space is typically occupied by engineering students in between classes where it is common to see them eat lunch, hang out with friends or enjoy some of the events hosted there throughout the year. Downtown Brooklyn is part of the "Brooklyn Tech Triangle," an area that has become a magnet for innovation and entrepreneurs. And NYU Tandon’s Brooklyn campus is just a quick subway ride from all that Manhattan has to offer.

NYU Tandon boasts state-of-the-art facilities including:

  • MakerSpace, equipped with 3D printers, milling machines, and prototyping tools to foster hands-on innovation
  • Nanofabrication Cleanroom, providing academic and industry researchers with access to the equipment and expertise needed to leverage cutting-edge nanotechnology
  • NYU Tandon @ The Yard, a 14,000 square foot production and research facility, consisting of two production studios as well as other systems for working with emerging media technology
  • Specialized laboratories that provide students with advanced equipment and resources essential for pioneering research and practical learning in multiple engineering disciplines

NYU Tandon School of Engineering’s BS Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, BS Civil Engineering, BS Computer Engineering, BS Electrical Engineering, and BS Mechanical Engineering programs are accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET (www.abet.org).

The BS in Chemistry is approved by the American Chemical Society (ACS).
